40 Year of Cooperation, memorable milestones and achievements have been shown through photos to encourage further future plans

On 11th July, Hanoi, the Ministry of Health and UNFPA in Vietnam celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Vietnam-UNFPA Cooperation (1977-2017) and World Population Day (11th July), based on the topic “Family planning : Placing people at the center of population development”.

70 photos featuring the achievements and success about population and development, reproductive health and sexual health was shown at the hall, including voluntary family planning and gender equality.

On the same occasion, to celebrate the World Population Day, six well-known artists participated in the event as ambassadors of UNFPA : MC Phan Anh is the representative for all mass media activities ; Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh for the adolescence of Vietnam ; saxophonist Quyen Van Minh for the elders ; rock singer Pham Anh Khoa for the objection against women and child abuse ; singer Duy Khoa for the prevention against unbalanced gender after birth ; and actress Chieu Xuan for prevention against cervical cancer.

The exhibition draws great number of attention from the public. Along with the exhibition, Miss Nguyen Ngoc Binh shows her interest and achievements in the exhibition.

 

The exhibition is also a reminder of the activities and campaigns that Vietnam-UNFPA have accomplished in Vietnam: preventing cervical cancer in women, preventing women and child abuse, and preventing unbalance of genders.
